Pipes
I Love cigars. Not as an everyday thing but as something for when some buddies and I are gathered together. Some of said buddies prefer pipes. So that leads me to enjoy a pipe every once in a while. I really like pipes I like how they taste and they are kinda fun. Cigars, while each slightly different, are all pretty much the same. Pipes on the other hand, are all so different. After seeing so many different ones, I made a decision. I started a pipe collection.
Here are a few that I have. Each have their own story.
- This one Dave brought home from Italy for me. I cant remember what city, but its an awesome pipe.
- Dave brought this one back from Bejing, China for me. The dragon’s tail wraps all the way around the pipe and up the stem. It is definitely my favorite.
- Found this one at a thrift shop in historic downtown Grapevine. Its my first, and the only one from the collection I have actually used.
I am still trying to grow my collection, so if anyone sees one that I can’t live without please let me know.
In a similar story line. I was on Facebook today and saw a group for fans of this pipe maker. That got me thinking, “I’ll bet I could make my own pipe. It can’t be that hard.” So that is my new project. I’ll post pictures on my progress in the future. Right now its just in my head. Feel free to comment below, leave links if you see a cool pipe or something like that.
Peace
